Together with our insurer, MetLife, we’re always looking for ways to make our default insurance cover even better. Over the past year we’ve simplified and broadened the eligibility for making a TPD claim if you believe you’re unlikely to ever be able to return to work because of illness or injury. What’s more, when assessing a claim, MetLife takes into account your capacity for future reasonable retraining and rehabilitation to assist with a return to suitable work.
We’re also working hard to give you the information you need, when you need it. We’ve got a range of resources available on our website to make it easier to understand how insurance works, what it’s for, and how to make a claim if you ever need to. And in 2024, keep an eye out for our new personalised annual insurance snapshot, which will help you understand how much cover you have and what you’re covered for.
